EXONAS (pat. pend.) is the ecosystem concept for Unmanned Aerial Systems / Unmanned Traffic Management (UAS-UTM)and atypical vehicle operations in venues outside the scope of the traditional National Airspace System. EXONAS encompasses the physical, regulatory, and funding environments that allow for the safe and efficient integration of unmanned vehicle operations in close proximity to People, Places and Things. The concept provides for equitable Airspace Reservation and Segregation Separation Protocol (ARaSS) transitioning to Autonomous Peer to Peer Separation Protocol (APtPS) between cooperative participants and simultaneous airspace sharing/separation between participants and non-participants.
